Granville Mens Shed Inc is a not for profit group of men who meet, socialise, support and contribute together.
We do this by:
The Shed is a unique part of Australian culture. It is a place of memories and experience, a place to share and socialize. In The Shed men can contribute to community needs and work on projects of personal interest and expertise.
Everyone helps with community projects and handyman jobs. Money donated keeps the Shed going and subsidizes our outings and events.
Work on your personal project. Build something to be proud of. Learn from others, sharing your own skills. Help us keep the Shed going.
Turn some wood, build a chair, restore one... Learn to use all our 'Big Boy Toys'. Get support and training from our qualified Shed Supervisors.
About once a month we go on an outing to a place of interest. Some of the places we have been include: The Observatory, State Parliament, Dapto Car Museum, One Steel, The Powerhouse Museum, Sydney Heritage Fleet, Police Museum, Toohey's Brewery and many more.
Have your say in planning Shed activities, guest speakers and our monthly business meeting. Come to a working bee, BBQ or join us for lunch at a club.
Call us (no emails please) and leave your name and number and we will get in touch with you. Or just turn up and say hello. If you do want to become a member, we will ask you to complete a simple application form.
