Rise Above is available as a quality-assured program in the NSW Department of Education’s Student Wellbeing external programs catalogue under the theme of Resilience

Rise Above supports students to manage their responses to feelings or events beyond their control.

Grounded in positive psychology, the program promotes positive self-regard and compassion.  The students will learn to identify and manage difficult emotions using a range of practical techniques and strategies enabling them to make positive and safe choices for themselves and others.

After completing the program, Students have:

  • The knowledge and confidence that they will be OK,
  • The confidence to handle situations,
  • Awareness of people and resources who can support them.
