CHILD SAFE ORGANISATION

A child safe organisation is one that creates a culture, adopts strategies and takes action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people. CMCS is committed to the ten principles of a Child Safe Organisation.

All levels of the organisation will take responsibility for the safety and protection of  children and young people who access CMCS services.  CMCS will endeavour to include feedback from children, young people and their families in the development and implementation of services for them.

CMCS treats the views and feelings of children and young people seriously, whilst being  respectful of culture and in adherence to the United Nations Rights of a Child.
